A free morning for Triad veterans to meet, talk and make real connections. Light brunch is provided. Come as you are, and bring someone with you.

Why this exists
Gwen Collins is a retired veteran herself. She knows what it is like to come home and find that the people around you, as much as they love you, have no reference point for where you have been.
So once a month she opens up the second floor, puts out coffee and a light brunch, and leaves the room to the people in it. There is no program. No speaker. No sign-in sheet getting passed around. Just veterans, talking.
Bring your spouse. Bring a friend who served. Bring someone who has been keeping to themselves a little too long lately.
There are too many of us alone without anyone to talk to who understands the journey we walked.

We meet on the second floor. If you have trouble finding the room or need help with access, call or text Gwen and she will come down and meet you.

The only reason she asks is the headcount for brunch. Bringing guests is welcome, just say how many.
