About Gwen

I serve the people who serve, and the families who relocate.

I spent my career in the military. Real estate is how I keep serving, with the honesty and care I wish someone had shown me.

From the military to the Triad

I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. My family did not have the money to send me to college, and I knew I wanted to see more of the world, so I joined the military. I served, I traveled, I learned new skills, and I built a life around showing up for other people. I retired in 2013 and eventually made the Triad my home.

Along the way I earned a master's in Information Systems Management. That background is part of how I work today. I am organized, I document everything, and I keep the details straight so my clients never have to wonder what is happening with the biggest purchase of their lives.

The closing that changed everything

When I bought my own home, I trusted my agent to guide me. She did not. No one walked me through a survey, a home inspection, or the due diligence a buyer is supposed to do. I signed paperwork I should have understood long before closing day, and I learned later that two gullies fed water onto my property every time it rained. I spent real money fixing a problem I should have known about before I ever bought.

I was not represented well, and it stayed with me. I did not want anyone else to go through that without the right information beside them, especially people who do not have the resources to absorb a mistake that large.

So I got my license and built my practice around one promise: you will never sign blind.

How I serve now

I am a certified Military Relocation Professional, and I am completing a luxury certification. I work with buyers, sellers, and investors across Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. I have a soft spot for veterans and military families relocating to the Triad, because I know what it is like to land somewhere new and need someone who actually has your back.

I do not need the commission to live. I have my retirement and my benefits. I do this because I still want to be of service, and this is how I have chosen to do it.

Her promise

Five qualities my clients count on.

01

Transparent

You always know where things stand, what each document means, and why a step matters.

02

Thorough

Survey, inspection, title, due diligence. Nothing skipped, even on new construction.

03

Communicative

Ask a question and you get an answer, not a wait. I find it and come back to you.

04

Dedicated

My clients joke that I never sleep. When I am working for you, I am working for you.

05

Attentive

I find what you actually want, not what I assume you want. I listen first.
